The Juno 2015 eOne/Gibson Guitar Party

I’ve been away for a while. I’m sorry. Now tell me that title didn’t catch your eye. It’s true, I was invited to the eONe/Gibson Guitar Canada 2015 Juno All Star Extravaganza.

What’s an extravaganza,  you say? Webster define extravaganza as “an elaborate and spectacular entertainment or production”, and it truly was. All of the performers were current or past Juno winners or nominees. The party stated at 9:00PM at the beautiful Liuna Station in Hamilton and when we left at 2:30AM there was still a band on stage. It was that kind of night. I’ll keep this short, this is my third post of the night but I couldn’t leave you guys out of the loop! If you want more details you can visit my posts on thereviewsarein.com and Sound Check Entertainment. Enjoy!

The Dead South, loved these guys. I’ve been listening to them all day. Out of Regina, Saskatchewan, this band uses banjo, cello, guitar and a kick drum to grab your attention. A combination of classical, bluegrass, rock, and folk blended into a memorable and unique sound. I’m sold!

Lindsay Broughton, with her big smile and gorgeous guitar put on quite a show.

And last for me but definitely not least, The Wild! The highest energy performance of the night. At well past 2:00AM they may not have had the biggest audience, you’d never know it. Kudos to these guys, can’t wait to see them again. They’re playing Cherry Cola’s on Friday night, go check them out! The Wild! at Liuna Station Gibson at the Junos 2015
